diy time :)
sorta simple...

so i was inspired by these lace nails that i keep seeing on the false glue on acrylic nails like on weheartit and outsapop trashion and other photo websites and i decided it was time to make my own :)

basically what you need is some clear nail polish, some lace or fabric that you want to use (try something sheer) and some scissors and nail clippers


step by step:
1. cut a square in the fabric you are using that will fit the finger you want to decorate.
2. measure and trim the cut square to a replica of your nail
3. paint your nail with clear nailpolish (this will act as a glue for the fabric)
4. now place the fabric ontop of the nail where you want it
5. wait until it dries
6. trim any left over fabric thats hanging over the edges or something
7. apply a clear coat of nail polish on top of your decorated nail and voila! done



yeah pretty simple- as you can see i did a crap job but thats because im lazy and... well yeah thats my only excuse.

so... i died the ends of my hair pink :) i think its pretty radical .

soo since i started this diet thing with my family, i've been trying to find things to do so that i wont be tempted to eat when im bored ... so what better to do when bored than DIY? so i went out and bought a 3 dollar white shirt from giant tiger and got working.
at first i wanted to do the chanel logo thing since my original one was ruined in the wash... but i decided to do something different and more personal.





if any one is familiar with the kills they get this shirt. its one of my favorite songs by them and i thought it would make a cool shirt :) so thanks allison and jamie for making such awesome music and inspiring me on a crappy night.
p.s if you're gonna make a shirt, make sure to measure everything to make it even, and use rulers. honestly i am the furthest thing from a pefectionist but it definitely helps when you're trying not to mess up a perfectly good tee.

alright, super lame title.

anyways, yes happy easter :) i didnt eat much candy today which is good :) gotta get a good figure in time for summer .
so today to keep myself busy since NOTHING is open i made a dress! my first wearable dress made from stratch, no pattern or anything- just my imagination and some inspiration from gaga and kitching :)








so its not done though... i still need to bleach it and stud the circle part :) i'll post that once thats done...
i like it, its obvious that a horrible sewer like me who knows nothing of sewing skills and stuff had sewn this but wtv- its pretty good for my official first dress.
